Negotiations commence for a new public sector framework agreement
The Chairman of the Histadrut Arnon Bar-David and the Director General of the Ministry of Finance Shlomi Heisler met today (Sunday) in Jerusalem and agreed to start a negotiation process for the formulation of a framework agreement for the public sector. Later, the professional teams also joined: Acting Commissioner for Wages and Employment Agreements Efi Malkin , Budget Commissioner Yogev Gerdos, Acting Chairman of the Histadrut Roi Ya’akov and Deputy Director of Policy and Economics at the Histadrut Adam Blumenberg. Director General of the Ministry of Finance Shlomi Heisler, who will lead the talks on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, and Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David concluded that the teams will conduct intensive negotiations to reach a groundbreaking agreement that will strengthen the public sector and service to the citizen.
