Eyal Yadin to lead Transport Union

The Secretariat of the Histadrut Transportation Workers’ Union has chosen attorney Eyal Yadin for the position of union chairman, following the recommendation of Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David. Yadin will replace outgoing union chairman Avi Edri, who has held the position for the past 14 years.

Attorney Eyal Yadin, 40 years old, married, and father of two, previously worked at the office of Attorney Benjamin M. Cohen & Co., which specializes in labor relations, and also served as business VP at the Migdal insurance company. Since his leaving Migdal, Yadin founded a consulting firm in the field of labor relations.

Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David: Eyal Yadin is the right man at the right time. The Transport Workers Union is a vital Union, and I do not doubt that Eyal will lead the union to action and success. I thank the outgoing Chairman of the Transport Workers’ Union, Adv. Avi Edri, for significant work over the years and excellent job with dedication and determination along the way. He is a partner in substantial achievements of the Histadrut for all transport workers in Israel.”
