Mediation efforts continue as Bar-David meets Lapid
This morning, former Prime Minister and opposition leader Yair Lapid met with Histadrut chairman Arnon Bar-David. During their meeting, they discussed the outline presented to the Prime Minister by the chairman of the Histadrut and the president of the business sector.
Yair Lapid, the Opposition Leader, expressed the importance of the State of Israel’s image and soul in the ongoing struggle. He emphasized the need to put an end to the current chaos and strive for a broad consensus. Lapid welcomed the efforts made by the Histadrut chairman, stating that the outlined proposal serves as a foundation for constructive dialogue.
Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David pledged to persistently explore all possibilities for finding a suitable compromise. He called upon the other parties involved to demonstrate responsible leadership in the process.
