October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In a joint effort to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer, Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David and Chairman of the Presidium of Israel Business Organizations Dubi Amitai distributed a letter to workers and managers in all sectors of the Israeli economy to aid in prevention efforts and to emphasize the importance of early detection to save lives. “The sooner the disease is diagnosed, the chances of healing and recovery increase significantly up to about 90%.”
