Bar-David: I’ll use all my strength to prevent harm to pensioners

During the marathon negotiations that took place until the early hours of the morning between the Histadrut and the Ministry of Finance on the issues of the framework agreement and the teacher’s aides reform, Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David made it clear to the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, Shlomi Heisler, that he is adamantly opposed to the Ministry of Finance’s plan to cancel the increase in the exemption for retiree recipients of pensions.
The chairman of the Histadrut, Arnon Bar-David said this morning: “I informed the director general of the Ministry of Finance that I will not stand by when the public of workers saving for retirement are clearly harmed. I will use all my strength in the Knesset and all the power of the Histadrut to prevent the expected harm to pensioners.”
