Histadrut responds to reports on “Hand Shakes Hand” affair: activities continue as usual
Yaniv Levy, Chair of the Division for Public Relations, Spokesperson and Advertising, addressed reports regarding the “Hand Shakes Hand” affair:
“We are confident in the innocence of our people and are cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities. Naturally, we cannot comment on ongoing proceedings. The Histadrut’s activities for the public continue as usual, including all organizational services across the country.”
The Histadrut emphasizes that all its institutions, services, and public activities are operating as normal, with full commitment to Israel’s workers and retirees.
As a cornerstone of Israeli society since before the founding of the state, the Histadrut remains a stable, principled, and strong national institution, serving as a social and economic anchor for millions of citizens. For 105 years, the Histadrut has stood at the forefront of defending workers’ rights and promoting equality, mutual responsibility, and social justice.
