Over the weekend, women from both sides of the border met at the Beit Berl Academic College and discussed the promotion of business collaborations between them, discussed the situation and the promotion of coexistence precisely in these tense days: “As part of our activities, strong Jewish-Arab relations and social interaction developed”

Women prove that it is possible otherwise: An exciting project of the Jewish-Arab Institute of the Histadrut, together with the Institute for International Leadership, brought together about 50 Palestinian women and businesswomen from the West Bank and Israelis for two days of dialogue, removing barriers, and workshops to promote their businesses and collaborations.

During the weekend, the women from both sides of the border met at the Beit Berl Academic College and discussed the promotion of business collaborations between them, discussed the situation, and the promotion of coexistence during these tense days.

During the two days, the women got to know each other, built collaborations, and participated in several professional workshops. Workshops included marketing writing, effective use of social media for marketing purposes and other discourse, and of course, social circles that dealt with building relations and removing barriers between women and religions.

Along with dozens of Jewish women from Israel, one could find Muslim and Christian women from Nablus, East Jerusalem, and Jenin. One of them, Yadav Mahana, a 48-year-old businesswoman from Nablus, told Walla Money: “It’s not easy to get to Israel, bureaucracy and we don’t always see it well. But, despite everything, I decided to develop our business in Nablus, and of course, it’s an opportunity to meet and get to know the other side.” During the meetings, significant business relationships were formed.

Representative of the Jewish-Arab Institute near the Histadrut Samia Masaru: “The Jewish-Arab Institute has been working for over 35 years to strengthen cultural ties and business entrepreneurship among Jewish and Arab women. Today, we will do everything to bring the people together and strengthen the ties. “
