Histadrut decided to hold protests in the coming days at the homes of senior managers in the economy and deploy hundreds of activists in shopping centers all over the country to distribute informational materials. Histadrut chairman Arnon Bar-David convened an emergency meeting this morning of the special team established by the Histadrut to fight the cost of living. The meeting included a review of the field workers from around the country and the planning of the next actions in the struggle, including protests in front of the homes of senior managers in the economy and a special deployment of hundreds of activists in shopping centers all over the country. In addition, the activists will distribute promotional materials and assist consumers in assembling a basket of discounted and accessible products. At the meeting, Eyal Karolitsky, CEO of “Together for You”, the Histadrut’s consumer club in Israel, noted that dozens of products from the companies Diplomat, Shastowitz, and Kimberly Clark have already been removed from the club’s website.
At the same time, the Histadrut campaign continues all over the country, which includes the deployment of billboards, the distribution of promotional materials, and press ads. In addition, over a million drivers were exposed to the campaign through the Waze navigation app.
