“Israel Stops”: Histadrut chairman and workers’ leaders to join rallies nationwide
On Sunday, August 17, at 12:30 p.m., Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David will visit Hostages Square in Tel Aviv as part of the “Israel Stops” events.
Bar-David will begin his visit by meeting Robi Chen, father of the abducted fallen soldier Sgt. Itay Chen, and Danny Bar-Giora, CEO of the Hostages’ Families Forum. Together with other families, they will tour an exhibition, organized with Histadrut support, featuring photos of the hostages with their loved ones before October 7.
He will be joined by employees from unionized workplaces, retirees, and workers’ representatives from major companies including SAP, Clal Insurance, and Assuta Ramat HaHayal, along with senior Histadrut officials from across the country.
Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David stated:“The collective outcry for the return of our brothers and sisters is essential to the healing of Israeli society; a human act of solidarity that rises above all political divides.”
