Arkia Click workers take off with a new collective agreement

The Histadrut, the management of Arkia Click LTD, and the company’s workers’ committee signed a new collective bargaining agreement today (Thursday) at the company’s offices. The deal improves the wages and terms of employment of the new and existing employees of the company and will be valid until the end of March 2025.

Arkia Click LTD employs about 50 people, is a subsidiary of Arkia, and is the airline’s booking center.

Among the main points of the agreement: the hourly wage rate of the sales representatives will increase by approximately 17% for the new employees (up to two years of seniority) and by around 30% for employees over two years of seniority. Also agreed to improve all employees’ conditions and eligibility percentages for the continuing education fund and increase the subsistence allowance fees paid to the workers.

The Chairman of the Histadrut Transport Workers’ Union, Attorney Eyal Yadin, welcomed the signing of the agreement: “The agreement improves the employment conditions of the employees, new and old alike. Thank you to all the partners who participated in forming the agreement. The aviation industry is recovering from difficult years, and the Histadrut will continue to strengthen and assist the workers and the airlines to recover and to take off.”

The CEO of Arkia International, Oz Berlovich: “This is an excellent agreement for Arkia and the employees of the company’s booking center, who form the anchor of sales and customer service for the company and its customers. I thank the workers’ committee chairman, Nitzan Ben Ari, and the members of the company’s union for another significant achievement in labor relations at Arkia.”

We worked day and night to improve conditions and rights after the difficult years of COVID. Thanks to hard work, we increased the base salary, the subsistence allowance, and the training fund. This agreement symbolizes a new dawn that improves the status and sense of security of the Arkia Click employees. We will continue to work for the sake of the employees and their well-being.”
